Sylvan Heights Volunteer Program

We would be very excited to have you as a volunteer at Sylvan Heights.  Our new volunteers focus on feeding the birds, cleaning aviaries, and working on special projects.

More experienced volunteers may also be involved with aspects of the breeding and research projects. Zoo and wildlife management professionals should also refer to the Avian Husbandry and Management Program.

Volunteer Program

The Sylvan Heights Volunteer Program is designed for those who are willing to spend significant periods of time at the Sylvan Heights Waterfowl Center in Scotland Neck, North Carolina, U.S.A. in order to assist in the day-to-day management of the Center.
